Tie dye thrasher hoodies and tees
This look is special. It works on punkers, skaters, and hiphop artists alike and if you aren't one of those you can still pick up some tie dye and catch that attention. Tie dye has made a huge comeback and I guarantee people will eat it up when you wear it out. The only problem is these particular pieces are very difficult to find. Use your resources and try and find another edgy classic brand doing some tie dye if you can't score a Thrasher piece.
Adidas track pants with Air Jordans
I know my last post was about keeping it simple but if you're just cooling out, I LOVE this look that I've been spotting around the country lately. Uber hip black guys wearing slim adidas track pants with Air Jordan's. It's such a contradiction that it just works magnificently. Wiz pulls it off perfectly above. Take note cool kids and make sure the Adidas pants are as slim as you can find.
Ok, I know the sneaker craze isn't going away anytime soon but please don't stress. I love sneakers. I love Jordan's. I have at least 20 pairs of Jordan's in my closet that are rare and almost untouched. Let me say it again, I LOVE JORDANS. As much as I love looking at these Jordan's you can't really wear them out. There's a select handful of people I've seen wear basketball shoes out daily that make them work. I'm not one of those people and you probably aren't either.
I know when I usually feature sneakers they are expensive and hard to find but there's plenty of options that not only work, but will look better on you than those expensive "hype best" trainers.
Keep it simple gentlemen. You can spend less than $80 on these shoes and look better than the man who dropped $300+ on his.
Converse All-Stars and Jack Purcells have been around for 50 plus years and there is a reason why. They look good with everything, they work on anybody, and they are under $50 which makes everyone happy. NEVER get the ones that slip on or any of the John Varvatos editions.
Another smart choice is the classic from Superga. Europeans have been on top of the shoe game for years with these. They come in high and low top and you can find any color you want. They also look great for women.
Adidas is back on top these days thanks to the numerous celeb designers that have signed up to release their own trainers but it's clear their classics will continue to be the stand outs. The Rod Laver and the Stan Smith were weirdly enough my two favorite shoes growing up in high school and that was not dumb luck.
